The DC-SBM001 supports 24/7 loop recording with a maximum capacity of a 128GB card （Not included）for free local storage. Cloud storage is optional with a monthly fee.

Easy to Use Baby Monitor
This is a great baby monitor that is easy to use. I like how you can view on your phone and has a separate monitor as well. The video is clear and set up was easy. It has many helpful features, such as alert volume, lullaby, screen timeout, feeding reminder, different detention modes (crying, action, motion), temperature, etc.One thing I have noticed the camera’s bad connection sign comes up a lot and crying detention screen even if my baby isn’t crying. Not sure why this is happening, maybe due to bad internet connection. Sometimes the monitor also moves and I have to reposition it, but these are only minor concerns.This monitor exceeds my expectations! Much better than previous monitors purchased.

Really easy to set up. Love that I don’t have to use wifi, the devices connected right away with Bluetooth and you can use wifi as an option. The quality is excellent and I like that you can navigate the camera through the video monitor. Looked at a lot of options and this was the best.

It is rare for me to be so impressed that I write a review on Amazon, but I felt the need to tell the world about this product. My wife and I are so impressed with this product. It is everything it advertises. The picture quality is amazing on our cell phones and the sound quality is very good. It gives my wife the ability to check on the baby (and probably me too) while she is at work. I use it when I work in the basement office to see or hear the baby in our second floor nursery. The setup was super easy once I reset the WIFI button. My only small complaint is the feedback if the portable video monitor (or your cell phone) is in the same room as the camera. However, a small price to pay for all the awesome features it gives you. This product is definitely a lifesaver and worth every penny sent!!!!

We love how clear the video is, giving us peace of mind while monitoring our baby.Useful FeaturesThis monitor is packed with useful features, including real-time alerts for crying, temperature, and motion, which is great for overnight monitoring. The two-way talk is handy, and we appreciate the option to play lullabies. The negatives are clearly outweighing the benefits.The positives:- 2 camera’s on 1 monitor (honestly, I don’t understand why the market is so lacking here)- Good daytime picture quality- Wifi (those radio monitors don’t have the reach, this has)- Room Temp + humidity detection- Feeding time intervals notifications / alarms.- Common monitor stuff like VOX, Lullabies etcNegatives:- Chinese company, worried about privacy. Cloud connected. Turning on private mode removes settings that aren’t related to private mode at all, just to nag you to turn this setting on. Like all detection features, even night vision, lol. There is 0 need to require the cloud for that, other than data-collection and forcing you to use It.- Annoying endlessly repeating notifications with bad control over them and settings spread all over the place- Nothing is complete, camera control not possible with the parent unit, but with the app. Certain settings you need the parent unit and can’t be done the same with the app. So you need both, neither of them are stand-alone really.- Camera’s constantly lose connection, “waiting for encrypted signal” is usually the message then.- Terrible mic (can’t hard understand what I’m saying over the monitor)- Bad audio quality (speakers distort at normal levels already)- Motion / action / Cry detection, none of them work / offer anything useful. Motion is found without motion, turning the camera away from the baby. Cry detection alert overrides the sound of the baby, so turning that off Is better as It already triggers on sound. Action? No idea what this is supposed to do. Gives alerts without seeing any action.- Badly designed mobile app, why not just mirror the parent monitor’s interface and options? It’s not UX friendly at all. Hard to find essential settings, lack of control of how you want them.- Slow responsive interface on the parent monitor.- No mount supplied for the camera’s. Can’t find one separately either.- Camera angle isn’t sharp enough to look down to the baby at a reasoable normal distance- not having a mount completes the lack of options to even get a proper frame of your baby (almost impossible).- Nightvision flickers insanely, to the point It’s hardly usable without getting an epilepsy attack.- Lack of control of settings on both the app and monitor- Expect grammar issues or wrong instructions here and there like most Chinese companies do (I.e. tells you to press the reset button 5s, but they refer to the Wifi buttons, those things). It always makes me wonder how serious they take things like security with obvious silly mistake like these.Bottom-line, It’s not stable, It’s annoying and there’s a huge privacy concern with not being able to use It without the cloud. And It’s then quite expensive.Decided to go with audio only monitor and TAPO cams just to check on a distance If needed.
