Very heavy. Easy to clean.
This Dutch oven is very heavy. Looks beautiful and is great for batard loaves. I hand wash this item even though it is described as dishwasher safe. I sprayed the inside with a tiny bit of cooking oil before lowering the shaped dough into it, and the cooked loaf came out nice and clean. No aticking!! I took 1 star off because the lid lifter included arrived all rusty, and the oven’s handles are so small they are a bit awkward.

I bought this for baking bread. I wanted an oval loaf instead of always round loaves. The price was very reasonable and it’s very good quality! Perfect size for a sourdough loaf. I never use the handle for lifting the lid. Would recommend this pot. It’s a great complement to my other enameled cast iron pots and get a lot of use.

This dutch oven is the perfect size for an 800g loaf (500g flour). It produces very good bread, well risen with a good crust.It’s very heavy, good quality enamelled cast iron and the lid handle in my box doesn’t fit the lid but it’s not necessary anyway as long as you have good oven gloves.I use a silicone bread sling to.make it easier to put the dough in and take the bread out.It’s great and I reccomend it to all bread bakers!
