Great for personal use!
These have great ideas for dealing with stress. The only downside is that they are designed to be used in succession. This is not a deck of techniques you can use, it is intended to be used as an entire set in order to build personal awareness of stress and how it affects you.The cards are easy to read and come in a small box a little bigger than a deck of cards.

I’m a child and family therapist. This deck is really meant for clients to use on their own, unless they are still in elementary school. It is not much of a tool for therapy sessions. In regards to the cards themselves….the set is not bad per se, but it HEAVILY relies an acronyms for each concept and it frankly became eyeroll inducing after the 7th or 8th acronym introduced. The exercises were a little oversimplistic; I would say that these cards are most appropriate for 9 to 12 year olds. I could see how a teenager could benefit from these if they have really poor self-care, or have zero experience with mindfulness (often taught in schools nowadays) or therapy. From a therapist perspective, there isn’t anything new that these cards are bringing to the table. If you are a parent and your child says, “huh? what is that??” when you ask them if they’ve heard what mindfulness is, then these cards could be a worthwhile purchase! While it’s not a replacement for therapy, it can be helpful for kids who struggle with feeling stressed, anxious, or sad.
