Completely awesome. A futuristic experiencice
I work in science, thus part of my every day activities are making sketches, writing down mathematical deductions and calculations. Things that are just to complex to write down fast using a keyboard and a mouse. I’ve been looking for months for an effective and not 200$ cost way to handle my handwritten notes without having 3 or 4 notebooks with me all the time:The Rocketbook, it’s exactly what I needed.Now I can just write down any note knowing that I can swiftly store it in the appropriate folder in my cloud, send it to colleagues via email, or if it’s not something I’ll need further down, just erase it and not fell guilty about wasting paper. Moreover, it’s a light notebook that I can take anywhere, instead of having 1 notebook per project weighting down my bag all day. To erase, I’ve made a habit of cleaning the notebook with a humid cloth (a nice one is included) every week, which feels more like a ritual to reorganize my week and filter down the stuff I don’t need anymore. On top of all that, the app recognizes handwriting, meaning you can format the notes into a text file and send it to your email address, for further editing, formatting. The whole process is a future like experience.The writing experience on the surface is a pleasure, the material seems very durable and the way the pen glides over the paper feels very comfortable. Very natural unlike on tablets. There is no need to change your hand movement habits (unless you use too much pressure as if you are carving instead of just jotting down). After using a humid cloth, the surface seems like new. There are no leftovers of previous notes visible. Even using frixion color pens.The sole note, USE FRIXION PENS, otherwise you’ll have a hazzle erasing the stuff and it can erase the grid pattern. The surface is still usable and erasable though.What can I say, I’m in love with this product. My wife ordered one for herself after trying mine.

Overall, a very handy tool
I hate burning through notebooks, So this is definitely a great alternative. But it does have some key things to point out.CONSI don’t like the rings that they have used, they look cheap, and they are designed in such a way that they could come apart, I would have preferred individual rings for each hole maybe made with metal?I am not a fan of the quality of erasing in this notebook, if you look at my picture that looks like it has a yellow highlighter you may be able to distinguish some lines that do not match the colour of the notebook (its more noticeable in person rather than picture) but you actually cant get rid of it. So years down the road the notebook will still be white, but it will look like it essentially has lots of scratches, not THAT big of a deal, only gonna bug you if you have OCD or something, and I have noticed these lines showing up after scanning a document so they will only be visible on the notebook, not your digital picture.If you like writing with pens because of the boldness that the leave on paper you may be disappointed with this notebook, these pens do not leave that “brightness” as they would on paper, I do sometimes have to trace over my writing 3 times so that it will show up properly in the photo, Some may suggest pushing harder but I’m afraid of damaging the pages. I have noticed that the multi-colour pen pack they suggest (Link at the end of the review) are much better and shows up much more clear on the page.Be warned left-hand writers!!! although I find that the ink does dry fast, it will not dry fast enough for you to write normally. IT WILL SMUDGE. if you have a tactic like writing with the page rotated then I’m sure you will be fine.The pages will not scan or at least they seem to take forever if you don’t have proper lighting, it will just bounce between “position your phone” and “scanning please hold”Could just be me doing something wrong (probably is) but I can’t seem to get the double hashtag feature to work so I can establish my title of the document (sent the file to Google drive)The last comment I have is really minor, just more of a request. but the packaging it comes in does not look very eco-friendly. I think its garbage (put it in my recycling regardless) but maybe the makers can package their product in a more environmentally friendly package for all those tree huggers like myself.PROSI Know I wrote a hefty Cons section but they were all pretty minor things. All in all this notebook is pretty cool, I have to submit a lot of handwritten stuff for classes as PDF’s and the app will automatically convert the notes to a PDF for me which irradicated me having to scan with Microsoft lens, transfer to my laptop, use a PDF converter, then submit it. Very happy with that feature.It looks sleek, It doesn’t look like some dollar store notebook you pick up at the dollar store.It has lots of options for places to send your notes! I thought that 7 would not be enough but now that I have actually started using it I find I only really use 3.I just want to point out that I got the 8.5″ x 11” and yes IT DOES COME WITH A CLOTH. someone answered a question and said it did not. I bought this October 2019, so maybe they just didn’t include a cloth in the past.I would say 30 pages are ample enough to get me through a day. Fabulous Piece of Innovation. Like a notebook/tablet/whiteboard all in one
I have always enjoyed having a nice clean notebook for work.When I read about this on a 10 best things for 2023 type article I was drawn to find out more.After reading up on it and watching a few videos I bought the book and an assortment of pens, markers and highlighters that are compatible with the erasable pages.I use this 5 days a week for notes, flow charts, reference points and scribbling down drawings and emailing them to co workers. This is thinner lighter and more functional than my old paper notebook with infinite pages. I can use it as a notebook or as some would a tablet but if I drop this, loose it or get it wet the damage is nothing compared to a device.If I owned a company I would be gifting these to everyone in my company but for now its my edge to have over everyone else in the production meetings.* One negative thing I have found is the texture of the pages make it hard to scribble a drawing down, turn it around and share on screen the finish on the page isnt web cam friendly for zoom meetings.Looking forward to more products from this company they really get it.

Es un buen regalo para estudiantes, maestros, profesionistas o cualquier persona que le encante escribir, la app es muy intuitiva pero también tienen videos de YouTube explicando como se puede usar, las libreta es delgada y ligera, la pluma frixion incluida se borra con facilidad y también puedes comprar del mismo tipo de pluma por aparte en colores diferentes todo lo registra muy bien, se escanea muy bonito y fácil y la detección de texto esta muy bien, excelente producto! Hay otros q hacen algo parecido pero lo mejor de esta marca es la app

Realmente é coisa de outro mundo. Tão inovador. Tão útil. Produto apresenta características onde qualquer estudante que se preze irá tornar este produto seu melhor amigo. Transferência para outros aplicativos o que torna a integração e pós estudos muito mais fácil. Fácil uso. Folhas bem resistentes. Capa bem resistente. Fácil para apagar e reuso. Mínimo possível de atrito com a folha onde a caneta parece deslizar mais facilmente sobre o papel e esta é uma das características mais perceptíveis, claro além de ter um caderno para a vida tida, para teus netos e bisnetos. ☺️. Recomendo a compra tanto para pessoa física quanto para a aquisição por instituições de ensino que desejam a evolução dos seus alunos. É presiso ter uma qualidade boa ou excelente da câmera caso contrário o resultado da captura não será muito satisfatório. É preciso ter muito cuidado para não amassar o caderno, as folhas em si. Outro cuidado é não deixar anotações por mais de um dia. Usou limpou, assim teu caderno irá te agradecer e você irá valorizar mais a tua compra. Comprem pois será um ótimo investimento.

I am surprised by how much I enjoy using this notebook. I’m pursuing a degree, fully online, and I retain information best by writing down every term, rule, process, etc. I have been almost writing down every word I read. Today I filled 14 pages of my Rocketbook, added the smart titles and chose destination before snapping with the app. At the end of my study session, I accessed the files on my desktop and combined them into a PDF binder with bookmarks (created automatically) based on the smart titles. I erased the notebook pages and am ready to go for tomorrow. It’s a joy to write in. I ordered some .5mm Pilot Frixion pens since I prefer a finer point.I have tried products to make the iPad and Apple pencil more natural feeling. I have tried using the Galaxy S23 Ultra pen to store notes. And I have filled countless paper spiral notebooks with notes I can’t realistically carry around with me and aren’t useful beyond what I gained during the act of creating them.The Rocketbook solves all these inconveniences. My notes are handwritten (aiding in recall), quickly saved to any of multiple destinations, searchable. It does seem like the pages will last through many uses.If you’re on the fence, you can print out free (plain paper) page templates from their website to use with the free app. This provides all of the benefits with the exception of reusable pages. But I also really appreciate the flow of the pens across the Rocketbook pages. I have ordered the Fusion on sale in Executive size to use at work. 😀
