Versatile and Dependable Multi-Cooker for Effortless Home Cooking
Upon receiving the Midea Electric Pressure Cooker, I was immediately impressed by its impressive array of features and capabilities. What I liked most is the 12-in-1 functionality, which allows me to tackle a wide variety of cooking tasks with a single appliance, saving valuable time and counter space. The large 6.5-quart capacity is perfect for preparing meals for my family, whether it’s a hearty stew, tender roast, or fluffy rice. The 12 pre-programmed cooking presets take the guesswork out of pressure cooking, slow cooking, steaming, and more, making it easy to achieve delicious results with minimal effort.I primarily use this multi-cooker for weeknight dinners, where the quick pressure cooking mode allows me to get a nutritious meal on the table in a fraction of the time it would take using traditional methods. The sauté function has also been a game-changer, enabling me to brown meats and sauté vegetables right in the same pot.One minor dislike is that the stainless steel inner pot can be a bit tricky to clean, though this is a common trade-off for the durability and nonstick properties of the material. The sleek, modern design of the Midea Electric Pressure Cooker complements my kitchen decor, and the brushed stainless steel exterior is easy to wipe clean. The inclusion of a tempered glass lid and a range of accessories, such as a steaming rack and ladle, further enhances the overall value and functionality of this versatile appliance.Overall, the Midea Electric Pressure Cooker has become an indispensable tool in my kitchen, streamlining meal preparation and delivering consistently delicious results. Whether you’re a seasoned home chef or just starting to explore the world of multi-cookers, this appliance is a must-have for anyone who values convenience, versatility, and exceptional culinary outcomes.

The paint and the liner are so easy to get damaged.
Not sure about the quality. The paint and the liner got scratched already within two weeks. People are saying that after the liner is scratched, I should not use it to cook rice anymore. Should I keep it?

    My New Favourite Kitchen Appliance
I absolutely love my Midea Electric Pressure Cooker! This multi-functional kitchen appliance has quickly become my go-to tool for making meals. With the ability to pressure cook, slow cook, sauté, and more, it’s incredibly versatile and saves me so much time in the kitchen. This is an ideal appliance for the single person or a family. One of my favourite things about the Midea cooker is how easy it is to use and clean when done. The buttons and settings are straightforward and simple to navigate, and I appreciate the clear instructions that come with the machine. I also appreciate the safety features built into the design, such as the pressure release valve and the locking lid. This has become my new favourite way to cook so many meals without making a mess and to set it and forget it. I can make soups, stews, and chili in a fraction of the time it would take on the stove, and the results are always delicious. This has replaced the traditional pressure cooker that was handed down in my family for several generations.Overall, I highly recommend the Midea electric pressure cooker to anyone who wants to save time and effort in the kitchen. It’s a great investment that will pay off in delicious, healthy meals for years to come.

    Fast and easy clean up
When I set up my first home I got a stovetop pressure cooker. I used it a few times but never got really comfortable with using it so I finally just gave it away. Same thing with a new stovetop pressure cooker pot I got through a rewards program. Again I couldn’t bring myself to try it and and gave it to a community center. When the MIDEA electric pressure cooker came up for review I thought ok, I’m going to give this a try.First off it’s big, coming in at a 6.5 quart (6.15L). There are numerous cooking and baking functions you can do. For this review I did my taco rice I have with pork carnitas.I used the sauté function to fry the onions, garlic and hot pepper and then added the spices as I like to fry the spices a bit before putting in the water and rice. I then stopped the frying and switched over to the ‘Rice’ function. Btw, the book recommends a ratio of 1:1.2. I am using par boiled rice and I rinse my rice before using and I use the ratio of 1-1. 1 cup rice 1 cup water. The rice came out perfectly and I wish you could smell and taste it because my husband said it was one of my best taco rice and he isn’t wrong. You can adjust the time and temp for each item except Sous Vide/ yogurt/ and bake functions.Overall I am extremely happy with this electric pressure cooker and looking forward to doing some of the recipes that are in 2 of the cook books that came with it. I included a photo of how the pot looked after I cooked the rice.Btw, there is both English and French instruction/recipes and a French sticker that can be put over the English choices. See photo I have. I still have a lot of recipes I want to do, entrée, soups and baking.

    Impressed
This was my first time ever using a Pressure Cooker and I must say I’m impressed and I don’t see myself stopping… very happy with this pressure cooker by Midea. It’s quite easy to use, I was expecting a struggle but after reading instructions and watching videos I was ready to use it. It feels like good quality and it feels durable while using it, good results and it can be used more than I thought for smaller things like just cooking rice. Noise levels aren’t too bad as well, barely notice it as I’m watching tv.The clean up is also quite easy and I like that I can store this away while not in use as it’s not too heavy for me. I like the look of it visually as well, a basic stainless steel and black style to it. Overall it’s simple to use and it’s working better than I expected, excited to try more recipes and even more complex meals while using this.
