Great for Preventing Burns
Works on Lodge Cast Iron Skillet handle. It fits okay but is a bit big or a bit loose so be careful when handling the skillet when it is hot. It does keep any burn possibility away from your hands, it is just a bit loose fitting. Overall I am glad I got this to help prevent burning my hands. If you do not get this you must use oven mitts or similar to prevent burning yourself. Cast Iron get very hot.

This item has a very good value for the price, however, if you hold the pan that is either too warm or hold to for too long, it can feel warm. It doesn’t burn, but feels hot.There’s anti slip technology inside so it doesn’t slide off. It also fits amazingly on the 10.25” pan from Lodge.The silicone is pretty durable.The downside of this really is the cleaning, the anti slip technology inside makes it hard to dry and get any debris stuck inside. (Just make sure it’s dry inside before leaving on a cast iron handle or it’ll cause it to rust.)

Does not do the job perfectly
I bought this 10 dollar handle for my Lodge cast iron pan to ensure gripping the handle would give me the perfect grip and prevent burns. Not only it is a bit big and tends to come off so you got to be careful while holding it, on prolonged cooking with the pan, the handle cover also becomes quite hot and I have to wear oven mitts on my hands while holding it. So overall, it did not do the job for which I got it.

This is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. Cast iron is great to cook with, but the handle gets as hot as the rest of the pan. This is a great solution that is affordable and adds a splash of colour.

Very good and helpful kitchen product
Just what we needed. I wanted to have 2 to use with different sized cast iron frying pans, so l purchased different colours. I store these on the frying pans handle. Ready to go. Easy to wash. Pretty sure these could go in the dishwasher. Arrived on time and in good order.

Melted at the first use
I bought this Silicone Hot Handle Holder as a Christmas gift, together with the cast iron skillet, both from the same company. The handle holder started to melt at the first use and never used ever since. I’ve had similar silicone holders from other companies but never experienced this issue. The company has a website for support. I wrote them twice, I followed their instructions, I sent pictures…never heard back from them. The skillet is good but very poor quality for the handle holder. Disappointing.
