Perfect for tiny spaces and a great workout!
My job involves long hours of sitting, and for this reason, I had been looking for a way to work out from home, both for convenience’s sake and to avoid having to pay the ever-increasing fee of a gym membership. I live in a very small, third-floor apartment and needed something that would not only take up little space, but also give me a great cardio workout without my having to disturb my downstairs neighbors with repeated stomping. For the price of a single one-year gym membership, I got all that, and much more. The MERACH stair climber is small enough to fit in a standard closet and will take up even less space when folded. It is sturdy, extremely easy to assemble (it took me just over 30 minutes to put together), and at less than 15 kg, is easy to move to that perfect spot in your cramped living room (or bedroom, or even bathroom, if it’s the only space you have to work out). It’s quiet enough while in use to watch the news or listen to a podcast without the need for headphones, and the built-in LCD monitor (AA battery included) makes it easy to keep track of the time you spend actually working out (the timer will automatically pause if you need to take a break), the number of steps you have “climbed”, and calories you have burned. Since it has no motor, you are in complete control of the speed, the stride, and the overall intensity of your workout. The handle bar and pedals are adjustable for comfort and for an increased or decreased challenge. Despite chronic knee and back issues resulting from old sports injuries, I have felt no pain in my joints or spine, but have definitely felt the burn in my thigh and calf muscles! I could not be happier with my purchase, and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a convenient and efficient way to get back in shape or maintain their current fitness level.

Stepper Tension Adjustability
This item description fails to mention that there is no ability to adjust the tension on the stepper allowing for resistance to make workouts more challenging. Bumpers also keep getting hit when you slide up and down. Not easy to avoid them as you are sliding back and forth very quickly.

Since January began, I slowly turned a part of my basement area to a home gym. Ordered a walking pad first, then some weights. I wanted to add one more exercise equipment so I was looking through lots of options and decided to order this. I’m so glad i did! It arrived yesterday, packed very securely. It was pretty easy to set up – less than 20 minutes. The battery that came with the little computer wasn’t working so I switched to a new battery i had on hand and it is working just great. Did a workout today, and I loved it. I prefer this more than the walking pad 🙂
