Great for anyone who wants to understand blockchains and how cryptocurrencies work. Well written and easy to read. Divided into logical chapter, making it easy to find what you are looking for rather than having to read it cover to cover – think of it like a reference book. Highly recommended for newbies and veterans alike. I am quite knowledgeable on this topic, and I still refer to this book now and then. I bought it for my wife, who knew nothing about the topic, and now she is able to explain this technology to others.

Excellent book, although its more about Bitcoin than Blockchain
An excellent book to learn the basics for a product manager and not a software developer (even for an SW developer, it is a good book). However, blockchain was not explored in detail except through crypto currencies. The author could have spent more explaining the blockchain as a concept, at least in the chapter dedicated to it.

A quote attributed to Albert Einstein; well said! Antony Lewis has done a fantastic job of explaining the subject simply in this very readable introduction to the technology behind cryptocurrencies, the specific implementations used by some well known names (Bitcoin, Ethereum), and the implications on their robustness, value, liquidity, etc. I was looking for a decent introduction to these primary concepts, and I was delighted to have picked up this book.

I really enjoyed this book it really highlights how disruptive block chain technology is and how it has such a significant impact on the banking sector.Readers will enjoy this book because in my opinion it shows how much of an advantage Bitcoin has over conventional stores of value. As someone who works in finance I am of the view that Bitcoin is hard money and that there is no risk involved when purchasing it and holding it as a store of value over a long period of time.
