Lightweight and easy to clean. Perfect pasta pot with the locking lid to drain. Love it. Don’t have to lift a heavy pot and then to take the inside out to drain like my other one. Cooked other foods in it other than pasta and no problems at all. Exact colour that I wanted. Good buy

Perfect for a condo!
Have no extra space in my condo. Didn’t want to buy another strainer to take up space as I need two. This pot is excellent at straining! Feels sturdy and not worried when it’s time to strain. Love the size too. It’s the size of a regular pot.

Great pasta pot, I love that you don’t have to drain it in something else, my pasta didn’t stick ( and I didn’t have to oil or butter the water).I did find it a little heavy to drain the pasta – but that’s probably just me since I have really bad arthritic hands.

Poor design concerns
I did like the colour and and lightness of the pot and use it for cooking spelt and wheat berries. It’s also nice to have 2 sizes of drain holes in the lid.If they redesign this I would suggest:1. Have a lid handle that doesn’t require you to use oven mitts (i.e. not metal).2. Have a lock on the turnable “doohickeys” that are supposed to keep the lid locked. It’s hard to hold them in place when you turn the pot upside down to drain it if you’re wearing oven mitts. I compensate by letting the pot cool down before draining it.3. Design a glass lid that doesn’t attach to a metal ring around the edge … food gets trapped under the attachment and it’s difficult to remove it. I’ve used toothpicks and a really tiny brush (got from a dollar store) but it’s tedious.I don’t have a design recommendation for this problem: draining is a very slow and tiring process, since the food blocks the holes when you tip the pot over.

I meal prep pasta often and this makes my cooking experience so convenient. I don’t have to bother washing a big ol strainer with lots of holes because this has a handful on the lid. I can quickly drain and then toss in some sauce. I also love this color and have matching utensils.
