Fantastic, Non Stick (to prevent Burn notice), Extra Pot for InstaPot
I purchased a couple of extra pots for my small Instant Pot. I love them. The non stick coating makes cleaning up a breeze and it also prevents burned food from sticking to the bottom when using the InstantPot in Saute mode, which is helpful in preventing the Burn Notice from stopping your pressure cooking cycle (which I have had a couple of times when using the standard pot). It’s useful to have a couple of extra pots in rotation, so that if you just cooked a meal and want to leave the machine to make yogourt for a few hours, you don’t have to first clean the pot, or wait for the pot to cool before you clean and use it again. It’s thick and great quality. It fits the extra lids that I also purchased. Another fantastic InstantPot product!

Easy clean and great for pressure cooking.
Disclaimer: I don’t use the sauté function on my instant pot. It was given to me and I purchased this to have ease of cleaning.I purchased and used this for pressure cooking crock pot recipes to try out and it worked great. Basically wiped clean in some soapy water. It may be dishwasher safe but why bother? Cloth, soap, water, wipe, rinse. There was no scrubbing required to get it clean. It did EXACTLY what I bought it for.I do not and will not be using the sauté function so this review is strictly based on pressure cooking use and cleaning. It wiped clean. So easy. Love it.

Quick to clean easy peasy.
Have I got a story for you. This non-stick insert is the absolute KNEES OF THE BEE! It’s the Mariah Carey of my kitchen, hits every high note and never, ever sticks. It’s like it’s wearing the slickest designer gown, and everything just slides right off! Who’s got time for scrubbing pans? Not me. My pot whips up soups, stews, and rice dishes faster than you can say ‘cooking catastrophe’, and it cleans up easier than a weekend scandal. Using this pot is like having your own personal chef… and dishwasher! Every cleanup a breeze. It’s a diva… in all the right ways.

The “nonstick” pot does live up to its name!
I was a bit hesitant and skeptical before buying this ceramic pot because there were people in this review saying the pot sticks and the ceramic coating got chipped off over time. Actually it was my first time using this pot for cooking rice. And it does not stick at all! Comparing with the original stainless steel pot, the rice sticks to the bottom of the pot like crazy! I have to scrub it really hard to get the rice off!!!! My advice to users: just cook your rice in the nonstick ceramic pot and do all your cooking in the stainless steel pot! Finally when rinsing rice, do it in another bowl or pot, then transfer the rinsed rice to the ceramic pot for cooking when ready! That way you won’t damage the pot if you do the rinsing and heavy cooking in the nonstick pot.1st Update: the rice finally did stick on my second usage of the pot…. Although it sticks but when pour in some hot water and let it sit in the pot for 10-15 minutes, you can then scrub it off clean easily!2nd Update: after multiple usage and have use a better pressure cooking time. The rice didn’t stick!!!

Works in Instantpot duo
I was a bit leery, considering it’s price. But it fit my instantpot duo perfectly. I like it even more than the one that came with my instantpot, it’s thicker metal and the non-stick coating makes it a breeze to clean up. Be sure to get the right size! There are 2 sizes of instantpot, 6 quart and 8 quart. This one is the larger one.

Great assessory for instant pot fans.
Since we now use the Instant Pot on a regular bases, having an extra pot insert is wonderful. This is a much cheaper than purchasing the original type of stainless steel one. Quite often I prepare a 2nd dish and the extra pot comes in handy. After the 1st pot is finished I can just pop in the 2nd one I have prepared while waiting for 1st one to be done. Since cooking times are so quick, it’s easy to make back to back dishes (cook meat first and then steam veggies). Or sometimes as we are eating our main meal, dessert (baked apples, custard, etc) are cooking in the Instant Pot. In fact having the extra pot comes in so handy, I ordered another one just in case I want to store cooked items in one like stew. The ceramic coating makes this pot very easy to clean. If for some reason, food gets baked on I simply put that pot with a little water with some vinegar or lemon back into the instant pot and let it steam for about 5 minutes. Note: do not use a scrub pad as coating will be damaged.

Way better than the stock pot you get with pressure cooker. Easier to clean even if your pressure cooker screws up and burns the living hell out of your food or if you pick too much time..mine fit great in my instapot, don’t know about other brands…

Me gustó mucho que el arroz no se pega como en la de acero inoxidable, además de que me permite hacer dos guisados en poco tiempo, sin necesidad de tener que desocupar la otra olla.

This is an aluminum pot with great heat distribution with a ceramic non-stick coating on the inside and outside so that no bare aluminum is showing except a thin ribbon at the top edge where it is milled. This coating is completely unrelated to Teflon Brand and all its fluoro chloro chemical relatives. This pot allows me to saute, brown and seer things I can hold in waiting to add in after the other ingredients are done pressure cooking. This pot is great for par-steaming and then crisping and browning pot stickers and gyoza without sticking. This is by far easier to clean than the stainless steel insert that came with my Instant-pot, which I have to use Bon Ami on to get the unsightly protein residue off. This just wipes clean with a drop of Dawn dish detergent and a soft wet dish rag. I have NOT yet used this pot under pressure because that is not how I envisioned using it. For batch cooking it’s just the best. At $16.99 plus tax this was a great value for such a work horse of a pot. This insert fits my 6 Quart Instant-Pot Nova Plus.
