Are you ready to understand the difference between the middle-class and the wealthy?

For years, many of us have been brainwashed into thinking that investing in RRSPs and mutual funds is the only way to save money. Year over year, we pay our bills and funnel money into the stock market, hoping that one year, we will see the return of a lifetime, which we think will make us rich.

While that’s happening, the wealthy are ignoring those rules and instead putting their money to work for them—they are their own bank. They are controlling, growing, and protecting their money, and then multiplying their wealth and their family’s wealth, year over year.

If you are in the first group of people mentioned and want to learn the secrets of the wealthy, this is the book for you. With the strategies explained in this book, you can become your own bank and achieve financial freedom.

    Superb!
Incredulous. That was me when I first spoke with Darren and I told him I found this “Be your own bank” hard to believe. “What is the catch?” I asked. Turns out there wasn’t one… just a little education needed and a slight change of viewpoint. Darren has written here a clear and helpful explanatory guide to all those who want to maximize their wealth within their own lifetime. Superb!

    Be the Bank
Very easy to understand the concept especially for someone who doesn’t have financial background. The only question is why this is not discussed by financial advisors & banks.

    Recommended for financial advisors
If you have doubts in saving investments, this is the book for you. Too many people have no idea what they are doing with their money. This book tells you exactly what you should not do, and what you should do, keeping your money at work for you in a safe place. Secure your retirement savings.

It’s kind of a sales pitch.
If you see a video with the author speaking he basically reads the whole book to you on his sales pitch.

    A masterpiece!
A true masterpiece!Darren did a great job explaining the hidden problems behind the conventional financial planning solutions and education that are usual shared by the average financial advisors. As a financial advisor myself, I can attest to the veracity of his statements as I’ve been teaching the same strategies for over 12 years.A must read!!Jean-Pascal Martin

  8. Steve Osgood

    I finally understand the topic!
I have heard of this topic (high cash value life insurance) before but could never really fully understand it. With this book I finally feel like I could explain it to others. It clearly lays out what it is, why you should have it and most importantly why no financial advisor has ever attempted to sell it to you: It helps you way more than it helps them. A compelling straight forward read that delivers on exactly what it promises. I’m planning on purchasing more copies to share with friends. Everyone who cares about their finances should know this stuff.

Mr Mitchell opened my eyes to a whole new world. This book was some of the best money I ever spent. I would love to continue and purchase his services.

  10. Elena

The book is not bad, however, it’s not useful if you are from the UK

If you want to spin your wheels go do what everyone else does. If you want to succeed study what the rich and successful do and repeat

‘This is possible but you need me to make it happen.” While a lot of this book talks about Canadian social programs, there’s enough for Americans to think about. But it’s another fluff book without any specifics that could enable someone to actually do this themselves.
