1/2 the cost all the functionality.
Great cocotte and much less expensive than the French Ones. We’ve done bread in the range and Hungarian Goulash on our induction stovetop and cleanup was super easy. As a side note the colour is a match for our Crueset coffee mugs and pepper mill so there’s that.

I was lucky enough to get mine for $103 with free shipping. For that price it’s a 5 star value. The only issue I have with it is that the lid doesn’t make the best seal. Other than that it does just about everything else you’d want a dutch oven to do.

Lid does not fit
Before I bought this Dutch oven I did see a couple reviews that the lid was loose fitting. I would have been ok with a loose fitting lid considering the decent price but the lid doesn’t fit at all. It actually teeter-totters on top of the pot defeating the purpose of a Dutch oven. It was not damaged just really poor quality control. Returned and not recommended.

Lid not a tight fit
Well made but if a tight fitting lid is important for you do not buy. The three raised areas on the inside of the outer lid are very small. And also, when you place your hands on either side (when lid is on pot) there is a clanking sound. That indicates a fair size gap. This is not an issue with Staub.
