    Excellent cast iron scrubber
I use this on my cast iron and it cleans it up nicely. Definitely recommend to anyone who cooks / bakes with cast iron.

    Cleans cast iron well
I like this scrubby, it’s the first chainmail scrub I’ve ever used. I’ve recently switched to cooking with cast iron. So when I use it I use hot water in the skillet and rub the scrubby over the bottom of the pan without any pressure on the scrubber, it works fine for me, removes the cooked on bits, then some food gets stuck inside the chain circles or red rubber part inside, all you need to do is rinse water through it. The scrubby is easily pliable too. I like it a lot.

    Cast iron’s Best Friend
If you love your cast iron cookware like I do than you will love this scrubbing accessory. The finished metal chainlinks easily scrub away tough fried or baked on food bits without scratching or damaging your perfectly seasoned surfaces. A definite recommend.

    Great for lazy cooks
Great if you’re lazy like me and forget to clean pans while they’re still warm. Also great if you use your pans in the oven a lot.It won’t replace your other cleaning tools since it can strip the seasoning and it’s definitely not suitable for stainless or non-stick pans, but it’s great for taking off the crusty bits before finishing with a brush or scrubber.

  5. Andrew

    Bon produit
Permet de nettoyer la fonte lorsqu’elle est très sale, mais il faut l’utiliser qu’en dernier recours.

These really work as you might expect from Lodge. Cleans up left over burnt on stuff easily. Dishwasher safe, a little expensive but wow do they work.

I saw this ad showing a person scouring their iron skillet with this thing. Yikes! The scrubbing pad works but…do you really want to scrape off the patina you work hard for that the pan be “non-stick?”Of course, not!I rarely, if ever have food stick to my iron pans because I maintain them. On that occasion, I prefer the “old way.” >>> I allow the pan to cool then set into the sink. I put a 1/2 tsp of Dawn dishwashing liquid in the bottom without water. Next, heat a kettle of water to a boil. When boiled, pour the water in the pan and allow to sit for ten minutes. With a medium texture plastic kitchen brush, scrub over the surface. The pan is clean in seconds. Rinse well and completely dry.Put the pan on a medium-low heat burner, add a teaspoon of avocado oil to the bottom and wipe around the entire pan with a paper towel before the pan gets too hot. Heat until the oil just begins to smoke. Remove heat. When reasonably cool, wipe off the excess oil and completely cool prior to storing away.
