Detailed Review of the BFTECH PB2200 Blender
Below is a review of the BFTECH PB2200 blender after owning it for 5 days. These are my initial impressions. I will leave more feedback as time progresses.What I have used it for: making daily smoothies with frozen fruit, vegetables and ice. Making nut milks every other day.Performance: The blender has more than enough power to blend all ingredients to a very fine consistency. When making smoothies, I cuts through ice cubes and frozen fruits with ease. It does this so easily that I second guess whether I actually put ice cubes in. After 30-60 seconds of blending, everything is just a fine consistency. This blender also does a great job at making nut milks. The first time I made nut milk, I took the liquid and run it through a strainer. There was so little pulp that I have now given up straining it because there is no real point. In other words the nut milk is that smooth. This could be because the blades are serrated and possibly cut finer, who knows.Durability: This is where I am curious about this product and why i will continue to add to this review. So far it has been great and I don’t have any reason to think it will stop performing at a high level. It is not straining to blend or making weird sounds or funky smells.Price: This blender is only about 1/3 the price of a Vitamix or a Blendtec blender. It’s hard to believe that you’re getting this type of performance for so much less in price.Other info and user tips: 1. I noticed other reviews on this product said there were problems with a burning smell. I have experienced none of that with my unit. no smells whatsoever. 2. there was also a comment made in another review that when initially turning on the blender, it just made a humming noise and the person had to turn it up before it starting blending. the explanation for this is that if you pack down the stuff in the blender, it takes quite a bit of power to overcome that initial resistance on the blade. The simple fix for this is the turn the variable speed dial to at least 5 and then flip the start switch. This provides enough power to overcome the force against the blades but not enough to throw everything up to the top of the jug. 3. all the plastic pieces on this blender and the jug feel lighter and thinner than other blenders, but them seem to do the job and that’s the bottom line.Final thoughts: I have owned Vitamixes, Blendtecs and even a Wantjoin 1800W blender (which I returned). This blender (so far) equals the performance of all of these and is actually better because it has so much more power (2200W) and reduces everything to fine smooth liquid. So unless you buy the super high end Vitamix that has more wattage, it’s been my experience that this blender is better. Again, this all hinges on longevity. Vitamix and Blendtec have a long history of reliable performance but is it worth 3 times the cost? That’s really up to you. This blender has been awesome so far!

Burning motor smell
I actually order this blender twice. The first time I order the blender I had to return it because I thought it was a faulty blender, It started to smell like burnt plastic after a couple days.Now that I got my second blender from them, it’s doing the exact same thing, so it’s definitely not just one faulty blender, the product itself has a problem. The blending itself actually works fine, it has a lot of power, it blends smoothies really well, and it can blend flour very fine too. The only issues I have with it is when you blend frozen fruits, it will get stuck and you will have to add more liquid and loosen it up. The other problem is when you use the higher power the motor would start to have that burn plastic smell, it’s very noticeable, my wife actually thought something caught on fire. It smells like the motor is burning out first week of using, so must be made with some cheap parts. Going to return the blender again and switch to a more reliable Vitamix, sometimes the extra money is worth it.

Powerful blender
I use this to blend spices and it’s GREAT! I can fill blender with spices and herbs up to dull line and in a few minutes it’s all done. One night I was able to do 6Ls of spices in a jiffy.That night, I discovered when blender gets extremely hot after long use, it automatically shuts off until it cools down. That bit of information would have been good to know beforehand, to prevent me panicking and almost sending back blender as defective.Blend is powerful!

I, under normal circumstances don’t leave reviews, unless i’m impressed. I made my morning “smoothie” (almonds, Brazil nuts, walnuts, frozen berries, 3 bananas ((2 frozen)), 3 apples, 1 carrot ((better hold the blender!)), kale, spinach, flax/chia/hemp seeds). Blended with water. I was nervous at first but i thought, if my Nutribullet could do it at 900 watts, this 2200 watt blender should have no problem. At first turn on, I just got buzzing but then i turned the dial up 1/2 way and it started blending all that. After about 20 seconds of full power, the smoothest smoothie i’ve ever had. Yes, there is a smell when in use but the blend makes up for it.

Update: I want to be completely honest when I write a review so I feel I need to add this little tidbit. Apparently, according to my oldest son, I don’t hear as well as I use to therefore the blender is NOT as quiet as I thought it was. That being said it is STILL a great blender and I highly recommend it.I just got this blender on 9/22/2020 so it’s only been a week but so far I love it!!! It’s powerful but really quiet for a blender crushing up all the frozen fruit in the smoothies I make. I spent over $200 on the Ninja Professional Blender/Processor and it worked wonderfully until the blender part fell completely apart. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Didn’t even have it for a year!! The food processor still works so I basically got that for $200!! Expensive processor. If this one holds up like I hope it does then it will be worth the $115 price tag. I will update this review if I have any issues with it.

Few things did not present the best blending experience with this blender.- The pitcher is so poorly designed in a way that the contents do not circulate very well at all. Frozen food chunks will just spin around and around at the surface and never get sucked down to the blades.- The blender is advertised as 2200W. I am doubting that claim. While making a simple fruit puree, the motor started to smoke. The blender always did give off a burnt electronics smell from day 1 that never went away.- Also as mentioned in other reviews, the blender leaves a black powder all over the counter surface after being used.Unfortunately since I missed the return window, I’m stuck with this waste of money.

So far its working good but I’m just wondering for how long. The reason is because it has a smell like the motor is Burning. So I’m thinking it could go out at any moment.

Works well for blending ice, fruits and veggies. The stick thing is nice for ice jams. The blades don’t go up very high so you need a lot of fluid to get it to blend thoroughly. The blender motor is heavy and doesn’t feel like it’s going to buzz off the counter, but after about a minute of blending, it smells like the motor is hot. the pitcher is plastic but thick enough that it doesn’t feel like it’ll crack. A little on the high side for price but I’d recommend it.
