Perfect size/clear lid
I was looking for a larger pot, but with a single handle. I already have a two litre which is a bit small stimes, and this is 3l is perfect! The lid is clear, which is fantastic! I really like being able to see what’s going on inside. And of course, it’s a Lagostina and you can never go wrong with them!

Leaking rivets
Unfortunately, I purchased this product 2 times, a few months apart, and both immediately had one rivet each that leaked water upon heating. The rivet that leaked on each product were in different positions, so it may be a manufacturing problem with all rivets. If you buy this product, I strongly suggest you immediately fill it with water above the rivet level and boil the water to test for manufacturing defects.Perhaps I just got unlucky but poorly done rivets are so rare even among the cheapest of product these days, seeing it repeatedly happen on a brand name product that charges a high markup does not inspire confidence. Both initially held cold water just fine but the water started dripping upon first heating. For the first one, it started dripping after the water started boiling. For the second one, it started leaking well below boiling point.Given the rivet leaks upon heating, it might have something to do with the metals expanding. Even if one purchased a 3rd one and it works fine, I do not want to get a product that risks leaking again just from normal intended usage, thus decided to not try my luck a third time.When I asked Lagostina for warranty support, they simply told me to return to contact Amazon for a return. Amazon handles returns very smoothly in my country, so no loss there.Beautiful looking cookware though, really nice that it has a helper handle, great for safety when it is filled with hot, sloshing liquids and can be hard to pour steadily from.If only it does the bare minimum you’d expect even from a 5-10 dollar pot, such as holding some water.
