How to Properly Care for a Cast Iron:
When preparing to use your cast iron please remember it does come pre-seasoned however, it does work best if you continue to use oil in the pan. When you are finished cooking and the cast iron has cooled down, please use hot water and a sponge or stiff brush and wipe the pan out. If any food remains stuck on you may use kosher salt and warm water to work the food off the pan. To finalize this process please hand dry the cast iron. Cast iron is not intended to be put into a dishwasher or washed with soap.
