    Excellent cooker
I’m well experienced with this tool now. Beans in 14 minutes. stock in 30 minutes. safe easy to use, high quality. I read the reviews from Americas test kitchen. They had it right this thing is superior

Pressure regulator knob blew off the top and landed in the flame
It was a bit of a shock. It had not even reached pressure yet when I heard a sudden release and saw the knob missing. I looked around the kitchen for the knob and on discovered it when I saw a yellow flame shooting out from the under pan.My grandmother had a pressure cooker that lasted decades. This one was purchased in November 2020, so it lasted barely 2 years.

    Handle is very poor.
Used happily for 5 years, with only minor problem with handle screws coming lose. Today the handle bottom handle completely snapped off while twisting it to tip the pot and pour contents out. Cheap plastic handle with load bearing screws on weak point of handle make it a real design flaw. I won’t risk it again.Otherwise a very nice simple pressure cooker.

I have never been a pressure cooker person. I grew up and we all used slow cookers. My Mom had a pressure cooker and loved it. So, after all these years I decided to try one just for time saving.Last night I cooked my first meal of pinto beans in the pressure cooker. Took about an hour from start to finish using the natural release method. A lot faster than my slow cooker, and the flavor was great. No problems with its functionality. Easy to use and easy to clean. I’m looking forward to trying new things. And, I believe that the 8.4 quart size will be great for stews and roasts and chicken. I had a couple of question along the way in making my purchase decision and the customer service from Zabor was great. So far, I have nothing negative regarding this product. It was easy to use and the instructions made good sense to me. Now all that’s left to do is plan more meals to test this to its maximum capacity.

It is an excellent pressure cooker! I love the larger and smaller size with the interchangeable tops. Very safe and easy to clean. The difference with the electric instant pots is that you don’t need to wait to warm up. It builds pressure much faster. Also, the valve releases the steam on the side and not on the top, so the oily particles In the steam won’t ruin your cabinets, or whatever is over the pot.

You know I was very skeptical about the whole multicooker thing. I read all these reviews and thought don’t these people know how to cook! My first thought was that fast meant not as good. I’m all about the flavor, the look, and the quality of food. What changed my mind was the reviews by American Test Kitchen. Ok I got it that it’s not as good as a sauté pan or an excellent slow cooker but if it would be satisfactory it would be perfect for our RV where space is limited. First thing, I bought the 8 qt. My mother cooked with a pressure cooker for years, a crowded pot is not good. I wanted to be able to make enough that we’d have leftovers for a day or two. So after reading all the reviews I decided I’d trust the Test Kitchen and go with the Zavor versus Breville.I gave myself plenty of time to get use to the pot before we leave for extended RV trip so I brought the pot into the house and started using it. First the plain old white rice, it was ok, not as fluffy as I’d like but I think reducing the water and time some, would make it better. Next I tried frozen green beans from my garden. I put in a little bacon grease, bacon bits and 2 quarts of green beans thawed. OMG! They were amazing!!! In vertically no time and all of them were bright green and cooked perfectly and highly flavorful. Much better than my sauté pan!!! So I’m hooked and I’m an excellent cook before and after the Zavor multicooker! I highly recommend it. Don’t buy the cheaper pots I think Test Kitchen was right!!

Very well crafted and beautiful workmanship. It’s much better than what it replaced and that was my mother’s favorite pressure cooker. It can still be registered and has the basic warranty. Replacement parts are available from a company that bought Zavor. I am considering purchasing a smaller version for preparation of smaller meals.

Love, love, love this multi-cooker! I’ve used pressure cookers for over 35 years and this is the easiest and most versatile one I’ve ever used. Cooks rice perfectly, so I no longer need a separate rice cooker. I’ve retired my crock pots too, as this appliance takes the place of them as well. Looking forward to trying the many other features available on this unit. We used a NInja Foodi for the past 4 years, but it so big and clumsy and I really didn’t like the hinged lid, as it was in the way and hard to clean.
