Seems like I chose my first sit-stand desk correctly.
Ordered August 12th, arrived very quickly here to the east coast of canada on the 17th. No damage to the packaging. They are packed very well. First thing I noticed when I opened it was the quality of the welds on the legs, very nice, a good indicator. Assembly was easy, around 20-25 minutes, most of it was screwing the machine screws up through the frame to the top. Nice quality machine screws.Crank mechanism is nice and tight, it raises and lowers very smoothly, hardly makes a noise. For now I’ll give it 5 stars because it seems very high quality. So far it seems sturdy, I intend to use it daily for work, so I’ll update this review if I have any issues in the future. Tonnes of room for two 27″ monitors.Eventually I’ll make a new top if I start to have any problems with it, it would look very nice with maple and clearcoat against the black frame. Not sure what I’ll end up doing with the cables for my two computers, fairly unsightly I’ll have to figure something out.

This desk exceeded my expectations! Definitely get this If you’re having back problems, sitting too long or you just want to stand while working. I looked at many places for a standing desk and this was the most affordable. The desk is pretty big which I love because you can have everything you need for work within reach. Its easy to clean, very sturdy, easy to set up. I’ve had it for months now with no problem. You can manually adjust the height to your preference and the handle for the height is removable so it saves you space and doesn’t make it obvious that it’s a standing desk. This has saved my back and legs! No complaints at all.

Good, manual crank standing desk
I bought this desk in June 2020 and have been using it since working from home. It was easy to assemble (if you’re familiar with Ikea instructions that don’t contain words, then you can assemble this desk, which has words and clearly labelled diagrams).I know an electric-powered standing desk would be far more convenient but I didn’t want to deal with any power issues (e.g.: finding the closest outlet to the desk or the motor dying and then being stuck at a height that is neither fit for standing or sitting). I also bought this desk because the one from Ikea was sold out and no ETA on shipment at the time, but the price was comparable.When this desk is at standing height, I don’t recommend leaning too heavily on the desk – the desk is after all, made of particle board (top) on top of a metal frame (legs); the desk is meant to be worked on the table top, not to be leaned against anyways.The desk size fits my needs: a work laptop and personal laptop, side-by-side and also enough space for my note pad, pen, a cup and a small plant. If the desk were any bigger, you could probably be looking at a higher price point to support the weight of a bigger table top. The manual crank is just that: a crank that adjusts the table top to any height you want.Overall, satisfied with the desk.

I was skeptical about buying a desk sight unseen. I am pleasantly surprised; the desk arrived much earlier than expected (by a couple of weeks, actually). It was a cinch to assemble on my own (and I even have a back injury, and it was STILL easy to assemble on my own). I had this thing together in 30 minutes by myself.The base is extremely sturdy – will last a lifetime. Very solid and stable. The top is the only ‘cheap’ aspect of this desk, but it is more than adequate (it’s what I expected, tbh- but it does the job). In the future, I may swap the top out for something nicer (I will likely make my own top eventually), but until then, this will work just fine.The removable hand crank raises and lowers the desk without issue. Non-adjustable desks are almost always too high, which causes ergonomic issues. I bought this desk because it lowers down to about 27.75 inches, which is perfect for me when seated (I do not require a keyboard tray at that height; the keyboard can sit right on the desk). I developed cubital tunnel syndrome because of my old desk, so I’m ecstatic that this one lowers to the correct height for me.I bought this desk based on the reviews, size, and (low) height adjustment, manual height adjustment (no broken motor worries) and am very pleased with my purchase. The seller was very easy to work with, as well.I would recommend this desk to anyone who wants a no-nonsense sit/ stand desk on a budget.

Excellent sit / stand desk
Excellent price for this desk. Sturdy and is perfect for me – lowest height is perfect for me when seated and tallest height is perfect for me when standing. Shipping was fairly quick and assembly was quick and simple as well. I would have liked this desk to be a little deeper cuz my monitor seems close but there is enough space to hold all of my computer equipment and notebooks and other work-related stuff. Good buy for sure.

Perfect desk for long working hours
I bought this desk without having any expectations but it appears it’s perfect for me.It has a minimalist design which is great, it’s quite wide I can put my computer, my screen and my books.Very easy to assemble and very pratical for long working days where you can change very esaily your position from seated to stand up. The only bad comment would be that if your are small I would say less than 5 “3” you might have a problem when seated because the height might be to height to respect the ergonomic practices. I mean your feet migh not touch the floor.
