Easy replacement high presume sensor for Instant Pot
One day my Instant Pot quit working and displayed error message C6H. Instead of throw it away and buy a new one, I Google it and found this replacement sensor from Amazon. It came sooner than I expected. It was a fairly straightforward procedure to replace the old one. Now my Instant Pot is working again just like a new one! Strongly recommend and easy cheap repair for your Instant Pot if you have the same error message.

Exact fit for my iplux60 v3
Exact fit for my IP Lux60 v3. Works like a charm. Did pressure test with the instruction turns out no need to calibrate it. hoping it would last for couple of years.

Inexpensive part, super easy repair for C6 error on Instant Pot IP-Lux
My trusty Instant Pot IP-Lux (8 quart) appeared to be dead—completely unresponsive, all lights flashing, and a “C6” error message. Figured it was headed for the landfill. With this part and a couple of screwdrivers, I had it working like new in roughly five minutes—and I am NOT a particularly handy person. My full repair is shown in the video (also posted on YouTube). My pot is once again operating at the optimal pressure, with no calibration needed. It was simply a matter of removing the old sensor and swapping in this new one. Before ordering, just remove the bottom cover from your pot to confirm that your pressure sensor looks like this one. Instant Pot Duos require a double sensor (KSD105A)—an equally easy fix, but a slightly different part.

Fixed the issue
Highly recommended instead of tossing the Instant Pot. High pressure setting was a bit high, but fairly easy to adjust.

Just be sure you open up the cooker before ordering to make sure you’ve selected the proper part. VERY EASY to replace.

I bought this type b switch for my instant pot duo eco plus but looks like I needed a Type C.During disassembly I tried toggling the existing switching by pulling up on the end opposite the wires until I heard a click a few times. This was enough to unstick the sensor and fix my C6L error code.

This part works! I purchased the 6 qt. Instant Pot Ultra for $9.99 at a Goodwill store. When plugged in, the C6 Error message appeared on the LED. I had to purchase the inner pot as it was missing, and I was not sure if the inner pot had anything to do with the C6 Error. After receiving the inner pot, same error message. I then discovered that the lid was not the “official” Ultra Lid (not an issue for cooking, it works). I attempted to get this part from the Instant Pot Company, but all they were interested in was the original sales receipt. They have no interest in providing the “Right to Repair” Community with parts. They do not care if a $16.89 part fixes the problem. The would prefer you throw it away and buy a new one for $139.00. This Amazon Part, “Electric Pressure Cooker Pressure Sensor or Switch Works with Instant Pot” was easy to install (unplug your pot before doing any electrical work), and now the Instant Pot Ultra works just fine, as it did when new.

Had the c6 error on my Lux80. I’ve had my IP for about 8yrs. I faithfully use my pot for just about everything at minimal 4 times a week. Was looking on YouTube and found a video that a man put on this post actually that mentioned this part. I didn’t bat an eye. I ordered it yesterday and received my part today. Less than 5 minutes I’m back up and running. Pressure test was great now off to make my soup for dinner. Thank you Amazon!!!

Its been a couple months now. And the pressure valve still works as expected. Easy to install. Pretty much plug and play. Build quality is good. I should say its definitely worth the price. Fits exactly as oem.
