Very niche blender
This blender is an interesting one for me as I have only ever typically used previous blenders for somewhat limited functions. I found this blender to be very specific and niche. I think you will find value in it if you actually will use the described functions. Personally, I do purchase soy milk and wanted to make my own but knew I am generally someone who leans on convenience over everything. It is nice to have an appliance that takes all the guess work out of me completely messing up my first go at soy milk. Due take note that prior to using the soy bean milk function you will need to soak your soy beans overnight.Another great function is the stew function. My husband and I love making soups and stews and sometimes it’s just a lot of work to maintain while doing chores and other things. I would say the type of stew you can make with this function is limited but it’s honestly super nice to have something take care of the heating/stirring for me without worrying about burning/boiling over etc.My most used function is smoothies. I think it makes a solid smoothie blender, performing just as good , if not better than any I’ve used.Things to consider before purchasing this blender:-Will you ever use the added heating functions, because if not this blender will likely go to waste. It is also HUGE and hard to store even taken apart. It is the type of appliance that you will probably only want to purchase if you use it enough to keep it on your countertop.

This is a blender that can heat foods. It has an integrated heater element in the base of the pitcher. The pitcher itself is very heavy and made of very thick glass. You can heat food up to 100C (212F) and it reaches that temperature fairly quickly. There are several highly specific presets, but most combine heating to 100C with different durations of blending (see my photos). The presets are thus somewhat similar and you can’t change the temperatures or blending durations. You can’t create your own preset that mixes blending and heating and thus have to use the blending or heating functions separately. The blending has several levels of speed, but lacks a pulse button, which is pretty common on blenders.I made some butternut squash soup by roasting butternut squash, but using the blender to heat and blend it. I normally heat for about 15 minutes and then blend it, so none of the presets would work (even the one for soup). When blending it, it would blend for a couple of seconds, then the blades would create an air pocket and spin within that air pocket without anything mixing. When I turn it off, the air pocket would collapse and I could then turn it on again to blend for a couple of seconds before another air pocket develops. This happened even on the lowest speed and was mostly due to the thickness of the butternut squash. When it eventually got less dense (and I added more broth), the air pockets formed less often.An important thing to note is that the blender doesn’t have any electrical testing certifications. Thus, I would not recommend leaving it unattended, such as when it’s heating for an extended amount of time.
