Rewind. The Only Office Chair That Responds To Every Little Moment
Some moments in life are for hustle and focus. You know the ones, on the edge of your seat, upright or intently leaning forwards. While other moments sail past with relaxed effort, a gentle recline and productive flow. And some moments, well… they’re for putting your feet up and doing nothing at all! So we created Rewind. The desk chair with retractable footrest that reshapes to your unique moments.
Focus AND Unwind, From The Same Chair
Rewind isn’t just an ergonomic chair, designed to support and adjust to your posture for 8+ hours a day. It’s also a space saver! You see, not everyone has space in their office for a desk chair, stool, plus relaxing chair (and putting your feet on the table isn’t very hygienic), so Rewind becomes a responsive solution that allows you to focus when it’s time to focus, relax when it’s time to take a break, and adjust your posture when you’ve been sitting a certain way for too long.
Minimal Assembly
The Rewind, desk and gaming chair comes pre-assembled, you just need to finish it off (tools and instructions included). Available in neutral gray, navy, black and fun mint green or orange, order the Nouhaus Rewind you love most, and pop your feet up for the rest of the day.
Smooth, Silent, Secure
With smooth “rollerblade” Pro Wheels, Synchronized Motion Mechanism and Recline Lock, Rewind is not just a stable comfortable chair, but offers the same silent satisfaction as an EV. This mesh office chair is also cooling but without the unforgiving feeling of sitting on wire!
Adjustable and Responsive
The adjustable headrest moves up and down and tilts for optimized head comfort while 3-Directional Armrests slide forwards, back, up, down, and rotate for maximal support. Dynamic Lumbar Support responds naturally to your position, so your mind is free to focus with ease.
The height adjusts from 18.3 – 21.3” (seat to floor) with a hip width of 19.7” and 275lb capacity.
Now, Put Your Feet Up!
This 360Deg swivel chair features a manually retractable leg rest that can be used while seated or reclining. So whether it’s time to refocus, time to change leg position, or time for a nap, The Rewind Ergonomic Chair lets you do it your way, and in a comfy space saving way.
Some moments are for hustle and heavy focus, while others are for flow and relaxed effort. And Rewind supports your body no matter which work moment you’re in! With adjustable footrest, headrest, armrests, recliner, and dynamic lumbar support, it’s a desk chair re-shapes itself for each moment.

Defective and/or used chair!
The chair is beautiful and if I was not given a defective chair, I would say it is ergonomic. The package seemed to have been opened and very poorly sealed. The fabric of the chair looked a little faded, it certainly is not brand new. There was hair and fabric on the chair, and the grey plastic part has scratches on it. Perhaps someone returned this chair and it is was resent to me. One cannot pay full price for a used or defective product.

I’ve been using this chair almost daily for the last 4 months, and I haven’t regretted this purchase a single moment of that time. I have this in my office/craft room, and I spend upwards of 12-15 hours a day there, most of it seated. This chair can handle it, and my body can handle this chair. Depending on my task, I’m either sitting completely upright, or leaned back a bit and both are very comfortable. The leg rest is invaluable as I have dependent adema which causes my lower legs to swell when seated for long periods. But with the leg rest I’m able to prop them up throughout the day to help give relief. It’s also great for napping. Being able to take a quick 10 minute nap at my desk – comfortably – is amazing. The wheels make for easy rolling on my carpet. I did add some slip on pads to the armrests as alone they aren’t very comfortable. Overall I definitely feel like I got what I paid for, and if I had to do it over again, I’d choose this same chair.

Love: Its the more upgraded Ergonomic chair at an office supply store but somehow more comfortable. Then you add the foot rest in and the ability to lean back and thats a game changer.I work at home so I don’t have to run between my LazyBoy & back to the desk during a zoom call. I can lean back at my desk & take a break and get my feet up to help circulation. I like how you can adjust the arm rests and with wider hips there is room. I like also that the arms are not covered in material and will not peel in a year. I’m 5’5 the headrest works at right angle for me.Dislikes: The plastic gray color of the base. Most desks are white, black, wood or combo if trying to coordinate. The gray plastic also makes the chair look cheaper than it really is and reason I took off 1 star, really should inly be 1/2 a star but AMZ ratings don’t work like that. silver accent on the back to match the wheel base helps a little and having color material choices does too. The fabric is just ok, not soft or comfy but durable and I hope over time it holds up over rubbing back and forth on the footrest. I do wish the footrest raised slightly higher. My goal was to pull up my knees, plant my feet on the rest and have my laptop lay on my knees in the middle recline position but because the footrest is lower you wind up typing at an angle because feet point down a little. It’s doable but just not as easy as I can do on lets say my LazyBoy.Overall. If you have to sit at a desk all day this is a good contender and worth its pricey investment. I had serta chair that was uncomfortable for 1/2 the price that lasted only 2yrs and another ergonomic chair my dad took for himself and a big plushy gaming chair that winded up peeling after a year as a comparison and this could be the one that finally pays off.

I cannot recommend that anyone buy from this seller. They sent me a defective product, which seller acknowledged, and yet almost 2 months later have no resolution. Gas lift malfunctioned on assembly, so it doesn’t un-lift. Also doesn’t support my weight, so every time I sit down it slams down, and every time I get up it tries to launch me into space. It’s unfortunate because other than that chair is wonderful, but I can’t rationalize spending over $500 for a chair that tries to launch me into space without actually achieving orbit. Support seemed responsive at first, sent me videos on how to disassemble the chair to return, but even after following instructions (including oiling and pounding on it with a rubber mallet) the gas lift is stuck in the wheel base. Support is very confusing because they said full returns have to go through Amazon, but they can replace parts via warranty. I can’t return to Amazon because I cannot disassemble due to their faulty parts, and yet they won’t replace the chair and won’t even send me replacement parts as they should under the warranty. I’m starting to wonder if it’s a scam. Sadly ironic that this chair, which is so comfortable to sit in, has to be such a pain in my arse.

UPDATE: I purchased a second chair, and I have zero regrets! Nouhaus has 5-star support for its products. The second one shipped straight from Nouhaus directly (I didn’t purchase it via Amazon). Initially, it had a gas spring that broke down. I contacted Nouhaus support, who agreed to ship me a replacement gas spring. As it turns out, supply chain delays meant they couldn’t get it to me fast enough, so they sent me a replacement chair. I did a best-faith effort to dismantle the original but couldn’t, which would have complicated shipping the thing back to them, so they are allowing me to forego shipping back the old chair and letting me dispose of it on my own terms. This is what five-star customer support looks like!—–Original review below—–The chair has worked flawlessly for me over the past month. I like how the tilting mechanism locks in place, though it sometimes spontaneously releases (likely owing to me not setting the tilt lock in place enough). I tend to heat my chairs immensely, so the mesh seating (rather than foam) helps me a ton. I have also used the recline feature multiple times, even dozing off and sleeping a few good hours on it. Overall, a good purchase. The only reason why I gave a 4-star (rather than 5-star) rating is because when I received the chair, it looked like I had received a _used_ chair rather than a _new_ one, the latter being what I had ordered. Some hints: (1) the inner packaging was damaged with the box showing signs of being opened (when I bought it new); (2) the chair had a small coffee-like streak on one of the arms, (3) the tilting mechanism was completely disassembled from the chair base (it should be attached if new), (4) certain screws were missing that I had to replace (thankfully I had the right screws).
