Good
It’s a bit sloppy on the pan because it has to be able to come on and off, but it works really well. Just don’t leave it on while you cook, keep it aside and slip it on when you grab the pan or else the silicone heats up too. Good purchase.

Perfect
This product is perfect for my 10″ Lodge cast iron fry pan. It’s not a snug fit, but that’s ok. It’s very comfortable to hold.

Perfect
We bought this for a 10″ Lodge Skillet we purchased as well on Amazon. However, be aware that it will be a bit loose. We also purchased some”Core Prodigy Fusion Grip Tape – Silicone Rubber Wrap for Pull Up Bars, Barbells, Dumbbells, Sports and Gym Equipment, and Tools (10 Foot / 120 inches)” from Amazon and wrapped it around the handle before placing the handle holder on top.We do not ever put our Skillet in the oven so it was a perfect set up for us.

RECOMMENDED FOR THE LODGE L10SK3
Slips onto my Lodge L10SK3 cast iron skillet handle nicely. It isn’t a super-tight fit, but I’m happy with the quality. Reasonably priced.

A little big
I was a little disappointed in this product. The decription says that it should fit the “medium” cast iron lodge pan the ti have but I find it loose. It twists a little when one. So that means you need to make sure you have a tight grip or the slight twist may catch you off guard. That being said, it is not going to jus slip off or anything but I expected that a lodge branded one would fit perfectly for the advertised pan size. Maybe my pan is “abnormal” but I didn’t think so. But in terms of what it is supposed to do, keep you hands form burnin. It does that perfectly. It keeps the heat insulated well so that you don’t absentmindedly grab the handle an burn yourself. That was the main reason why I bought it.

Works great and protects your hand
This is so easy to put on and take off my frying pans that I use it all the time and purchased a second one. It really does protect your hand from the heat, even if you put the frying pan in the oven to bake something. I used to feel heat through my oven mitts when I used them to remove the pan from the stove, but now I slide this on and remove the pan with my hand and there is not heat. Would highly recommend.

use silicone tape directly on your pot handle then put this sleeve over top to ensure it doesn’t slip out
I bought one for each of my 12″ and 8″ skillets. Both pans can slip out of the handle which I’m not that happy with. The smaller skillet definitely slips out easier than the larger one which can be dangerous since you wouldn’t want a hot pan full of food falling out of your hand. To resolve this I bought self-fusing silicone tape (which can be found on ebay or aliexpress) and wrapped several layers on the pan handle itself before putting this sleeve over top. Due to the shape and material it works like a champ. Since both are silicone it grips well and are heat resistant. I have full confidence in using these handle holders now without any issues. It insulates from heat very well. Only when I’ve used a pan on high heat for an extended period of time would it get fairly warm to touch. I’ve also had it in the oven as high as 375 F without any issues.I’ve dealt with cheap silicone trivets before and have realized that if you have thin silicone it can act as an insulated barrier until you apply enough pressure that it contacts the heat source on one side and your hand on the other side. When that happens it can get hot fast! For this handle holder, as it’s fairly thick and consistent across the whole circumference, I haven’t encountered that problem despite using a fairly heavy 12″ skillet.

My stupid kitchen move is taking a cast iron pan out …
If you have a cast iron pan and don’t have a holder, buy this right now.My stupid kitchen move is taking a cast iron pan out of the oven, placing it on the stove, and within a minute, forgetting about the oven thing, grab it with my bare hand. I barely have fingerprints on my right hand at this point. Popping this on the handle has saved my numerous times. No matter how hot the handle gets, this holder is totally safe. You can feel some warmth through it sometimes, but that’s it.Great purchase!

I bought this to go with my iron griddle pan. It’s a must! It fits really well, is nice and thick so it makes the pan comfy to hold. There’s not a hint of heat coming through. Now I have this I wouldn’t use any of my cast iron frying pans without it. Your hands are too valuable to make that inevitable mistake of picking up a very hot pan and suffering the consequence.

Nice and easy to use

Fits easily on the handle, there is a bit of room so you can put it on the handle easily even when the handle is hot. It heats up with the pan so it might be good to put it on just before you put it on. I’ll be looking for the other handle holder soon, since these pans are quite heavy.
